Most people still own VCRs

I still own one and it is still hooked up to the entertainment center here. I have no idea if it still works or not as I haven't even turned it on in a couple years but it's still here. I keep meaning to have some old tapes like our wedding and some of the kids from when we had a mini-VHS camera converted to disc but so far it just hasn't happened.

Funny, I just swapped out my wife's VCR player for a Blu Ray DVD player. She hasn't used the VCR in years, and she had it before we got married. I asked her if it had a porn tape in it... and she did not think that was amusing. At all.

I have a DVD/VCR combo that I use occasionally. My boy uses it all the time. He's always finding VHS tapes in yard sales.

I used to copy (good) VHS tapes onto DVD, but quit after I transferred all of our 8mm, Hi8 and VHS home videos. That was a big job.

I also have a Blu-Ray player and satellite TV with an HD-PVR for recording programs but just never trashed the VCR yet and probably won't until I transfer the stuff I have to disc.

I still have a beta tape VCR!!! No DVD, or bluray Omg what year is this 1985?

All kidding I do have a beta tape just for show all my movies are stored on a server with 12tb of storage in raid
