Wow that's a killer find!

It's going to be tough. Once the 11m "Buying Beast" has been unleashed, it's very hard to cage it again... ;)
I hope I have tamed that beast. I have more radios, microphones, amps and accessories then I need. So why do I keep looking at new radios and amps???

If all goes accordingly my townhouse will be sold this week or next week. Looking at my options my next move. I am looking at putting a small cabin on the property where I grew up or maybe a mobile home that I can pay cash for.
Anyway my next major cb radio purchase will be a 5/8 antenna and maybe a tower but I don't know. That and get my 2 element beam that a friend built for me up in the air 30-40 feet.

I talked to a guy last week from somewhere in Alabama that was running a barefoot pc 122, I don't remember his antenna, but that radio sounded sharp.

Nice find there 1iwilly!!

Sorry for high jacking this thread.

So far I'm so impressed with that PC 122 if I happen to find another I might get it to set up as a base station. That's why I won't look for one. LOL
Years ago, a co-worker/friend of mine commented on my latest purchase (PC-122xl) and said: "Woody, that's the best sounding mobile you've ever had - it sound just like you sound in person". That was probably the best unsolicited comment I've ever had.
All of this 122 talk has got my nostalgic memories going, so I'll have to figure out which box and what closet shelf I have it stored, and put it in the car for awhile... ;)
