Long story here as there are different radios have been installed, uninstalled...

I started with a tuned Galaxy 929 with a Wilson 1K on a 02 Silverado 2500HD.  Factory bonding of body panels only.  Wilson mag mount placed center roof and tuned to SWR of 1.15 on ch1 and ch40 and the needle doesn't move on 19.  Installed an Icom V8000 2M mobile with generic mag mount (no ticket so receive only.  I have never touched the PTT on the mic.)  SWR on CB system raised and balance so that ch1 was 1.4 and ch 40 was 3.  I played with locations and ended up with the Wilson 2/3 toward the front center of roof.  2m antenna at very rear center of roof.  SWR balanced better but not great so re-tuned the Wilson.  Best SWR acheived was about 1.3.

Then managed to get my hands on a Galaxy 95t2 to replace the Galaxy 929.  I installed a ground from the radio chassis to the cab as the radio mount it bolted to a plastic dash.  With the 95t2 at full power SWR about 1.5 and 1.4 on ch 1 and 40.  Then also had the bleed over onto the 2M radio (set to local PD 155.310) that got worse exponetionally as CB channels dropped from ch 15 down to ch 1.  Sent Galaxy 95t2 to DTB Radio and problem was better and only happens when CB is on ch 1 and ch 2.  Further inspection finds coax with exposed sheilding near cab on the 2m antenna (though I dont see how the shielding that connects to the counterpoise anyway would cause this on a radio that only receives)  So I removed the 2m antenna and re-tuned the Wilson again.  External meter is showing 1.25 on ch 1 and ch 40.  Power meter also showing a balanced DK on all channels,  also raised DK up 7W from 25 to 32W total.  Peak reading also raised up from 80W to 100W.

Power supply are the supplied power wires for both radios and they run straight to the battery (same battery)

I plan on ordering a NMO style roof mount for my Wilson and making a choke at the feed.  Then I'll try to re-introduce the 2M antenna (with a new coax) and see if anything changes.
