it sounds like you will need to move the antennae farther apart. you may want to see about mounting the 2 meter antenna somewhere on the bed or vise-versa. i don't think that you will be able to get the swr any better than you have now with that high power radio...by all means keep trying other locations, but in the end i think you may end up having to move them farther apart.
