On HF i have a dipole at 30 feet, a Gap Titan DX veticle that i just took down, and a cuschcraft MA5B at 35ish feet.

I would never trade my beam in, however small and "mini" it may be, it plain works and gets out, for the lower bands i use a dipole, and i did use the vertical, the only advantage of the vertical was wider coverage in one antenna, but hands down i prefer my beam where usable, and wires after that, if you have the space use it, it wont let you down.
