I put the shack together with a pile of Mini 8 jumpers that were 3 feet long. With barrel connectors it was great in a pinch. But my SWR was doing funny stuff like it would be 1.2 on dead key and shoot up to 2 with modulation. Probably a poor connection but which one? The more connections you have, the better the chance of having a bad connection. I don't think the Mini 8 is rated for much power anyway. This stuff had to go.
