I got that same little power thingie on my old school Apple IIe that i've refurb'd here in the shop. You should just do what I did, I got tired of having my stuff in the house too and being confined to a "spot". I bought a 14x20 building with lofts, house door and full size windows. It's now my shop and part time man cave. Only thing I'd do different if I had to do it all over, I'd get a bigger building for sure and I'd put it much farther from the house. For reasons and stuff, you know... so I don't disturb the people in the house and stuff like that... yeah...
