The pictures that you added of your inside station looks like it's coming along very nicely. If I were you I would suggest that you download the free operating manual for the Autek QF-1A. It's a bit confusing to me, but being that your technical understanding of radio equipment is way above mine I would imagine you getting the Autek doing exactly what it's supposed to, and doing it well at that. It will definitely help you on SSB. and even though it would make a nice addition to any transceiver it will certainly do an excellent job with your Madison. Before hooking it up to my Madison I read the eham reviews on the Q f - A1, and for an analog noise filter it got a 5-star rating. It's actually painted the same color as the wm1, and we'll look nice sitting next to that meter. Ttys. 73
