need advice 575-me switch

i have this Astatic 575 m6 mic with the newer board i notice the push-to-talk button is sort of scratchie when squeeze the audio quality is very clean and clear from the on-air reports. the housing is nothing to write home about the front grill has a brownish look to it like the black paint is faded but again it's an old mic very possible this mike will be up for sale. but for now, need help to get rid of the scratchie push-to-talk switch

You can spray the switch and it may last a week or a month. Best is to just replace it. That's a common issue with that switch.
