I have a RCI 2995DX-CF
It has the new five leg audio amplifiers IC7.
I lost my a.m. outgoing modulation get out find the problem can I find a schematic for this board, I have all the AM Power that came stock with this radio I am able to talk on USB/LSB with full modulation with no problems but when going over to AM or FM I have less than 2% modulation coming out I am stumped at this moment. I don’t know where to look to fix the problem without a schematics hope somebody out here can help me with this.
In advance thank you for your time

Being the CF, it appears to be new-ish at least and might qualify for warranty?
The radio was bought November 2019 the warranty expired in November 20 20 yes I sent it back in for Warranty February 2020 for the Aunt board got it back three weeks later had had a problem until now but just don’t have a schematics to trace it take the board out with can’t find one anywhere that I’ve looked unfortunately but thank you for your post

What is the board number? If it isn't the same as, it's most likely similar to that of the 2950,70 and others.

that's the same board that's in the 2950DX.

here is a link to the service manual:

here is a thread that has some good info in it. it's not directly about your issue but might be worth reading through.

my first guess is that your problem is with Q66 which is your AM modulator transistor, or something else in this area.

Hello loosecannon I appreciate the link you sent me but I’ve already have that particular service manual that service manual supports the TA72222 IC7 Audio chip which is a 10 leg IC chip. This new board has a five leg audio chip, For IC7….
I have been looking all over the Internet for schematics for this particular board but I have not been able to find one anywhere…
I thank you for your help and your time it’s greatly appreciated.

yeah im aware of the old audio IC in these, but for your purposes that shouldn't matter.
if you have receive audio, and SSB audio, then your audio amp is working just fine.
your problem will be in an area that is dedicated to AM TX which will be the same in both versions.
