Many possibilities. One’s home is full of emitters which can cause RFI.

1). Disconnect the coax. Still present?

— The Basic Check is to shut down the house circuits that don’t power the rig. See if that “cures” it. (What else is on the radio rig circuit; check that).

One by one turn on the other circuits. Find the circuit to which the emitter is connected.

2). If the noise went away when coax disconnected, it was being picked up by the antenna.

— The guys with Base Stations will be along any time now.
