need new radio with weather

hey am looking to purchase a new cb with weather for under $175
heard both good and bad about 78's and 29's
are there other options in this range?
is it possible to add weather to other rigs?

i have a 78ltw and i love it . a small seperate weather bad radio is an option and wont limit cb selection .
