North coast of the USA.... Da UP!
The Feitong FT-808.... Listed as a QRP MF/HF mobile / marine transceiver from China, not a big package. Looks like the Icom IC-718 in some ways but has what looks like latitude and longetude on the display.

here is a link to a sales point similar to Alibaba....

Ft-808 Hf Transceiver from China Telecommunications Supplier Feitong Communication Equipment Co., Ltd., Ft-808 Hf Transceiver supplier

and FTGMDC Feitong Chinese FT-808 MF/HF Marine Transceiver ‹ SPARKY’s Blog

Not sure of the output power but lists 25 amps, so could be 50 watts?

more likely to be 100w ssb,40w am or so,although i personally wouldn't take it above 20w on am.

would need to be one hell of an inefficient amp too give you 50w for 25 amp dc input.

Yes that is the same radio. that thread is in the amateur radio section. Not sure why this one is in the export radio section. It is not an export radio other than the fact it has to be exported from China. LOL

i think the fact it transmits from about 1 - 30 mhz would make it of interest to most pirates the same as hf ham rigs are.
