Moleculo,

I'm glad to see you are keeping Peddler on his toes.. ;) ;) ..He really takes his "Big Dog" title seriously.. :D :D ...

Channel 34 sounds good for me ,
thank you...Hopefully some of the other "Mud Ducks " can reach the Eastcoast...

How about 10 Meters?

Moleculo said:
hahaha!!! yeah, typo....supposed to be 27.345 lsb...channel 34!

I think that 28.345 MHz is a good Frequency for us that can operate in that arae of the band; I will look for others of us on that frequency.

Not that it matters but SSB on 34?????
Thats traditionally an AM frequency.
I would think 40 would have been a better choice.
I assume it was changed to get off the illegal freqs aka freebands.
While your changing things shouldnt CDX be changed to MDX.
Oh well nobody asked me right.
Same ole same ole.LOL :D

Everyone around here runs 28.360 and I am sick of my buddy crying about nobody running 10 so all of you come down on 28.360 and tell Carl to quit crying.

By the way dont forget about 50.125 as a call frequency.Dont want to leave out the six meter ssb ops.LOL :D

Well now that DucKKilla has brought it up about 6 meters, there is a handful of us that would like a 6m club call freq. that is if it's OK with Moleculo.?
Alright guys would 50.125 be alright or 50.175,let me know?

Why can't we have a calling frequency for all the bands. Sometimes 20 aint so great but 17 or 15 is. Or if we wanted to get together after dark we could use 40 (if the foreign broadcast is not to bad), or 75 if we can find a slot :D .
Just an idear

I always heard that the CB "gentlemen's agreement" was above 30 was ssb. I've also heard people say 32 and above. I've never heard anyone say 34 was an "AM channel" until now.

Hamer that list is pretty good. What if you take a look at the band plans and use .345 in each band where we can? That would help it be easy to remember.

And how are we going to call for each other on the ham bands?

The below are frequencies marked with a * are the changed from above, the 70 cm is considered (Propagation beacons) freqs. I have NEVER heard beacons on 70cm?

the 2 meter frequency is considered the (New OSCAR subband) but currently none of the satelites are programmed for those freqs.

As for calling each other I guess we could do like the 10-10 international club, your call and ending with WWDX contest then when you make contact with another member just provide your club number, like mine is 558 ?
