Yeah - simple mod for export mode. First time in a while I've been excited about a radio! Uniden was stupid not to slip something in their 980 or even have a "EURO" model, they could have had a ton more sales.
I use my McKinley daily though so having the EU model for when we ever get some INTL DX again would be nice.

Will these retailers ship to US? My current McKinley is my favorite CB, but this EU model with expanded goodness is the ticket.
Shipping is 35 pounds for express to USA and they show PayPal as option. I goto check out with a President Walker for 179 pounds ($226 USD).. and cancelled at PayPal login screen. So it looks doable..

Interesting. I just got an email from Knights about my incomplete test order as noted above. They said they could ship the above radio for 189 pounds including shipping if I was still interested.. better than the 179 and 35 as quoted on there site...

4 posts up. I was talking about the Walker.. 179 and 10 beats 179 and 35 when I was doing a test checkout..
Doug at Knights also got back to me. He said 7-10 days or so he should have the McKinley in stock..no pricing yet..
