That's a fair price.
I paid $100 for mine. The seller bought 2 of them new and was going to install one in his and the wife's car. Naturally his wife changed her mind so he had to sell one. I couldn't pass it up.

The cobra 29 is the one to have for what I wanted out of a mobile radio. For AM only I will still take one of my old 29s over most anything else on the cb/export market. I was curious about the 980 and bought one. It's a nice rig. Great on ssb but just ok on AM.
No kidding. Someone was playing music on 38lsb yesterday. Every time I tune in to that frequency some fruit loop is showing his ass or the band is closed.
