New Uniden Radios

I was on Bells CB website and saw 2 new radios from uniden, Larger meter,Weather, compatble with wireless Mic. Lighted face plate? Don't know how long these have been on the market or what gap they are trying to fill. why dont they build a 40 ch base a little more modern like the 980SSB

I like the orange flavored one but I like the extras on the 787,wish the 787 was orange or had several colors to choose from. The 687

I agree. A new base version would be nice. Not everyone uses a CB in a mobile. I also don't care for using a mobile CB in my house but when that's all most companies are offering I have no choice.
