No such thing as man caused global warming !

Blame the greenies on this global warming myth. Carbon dioxide is a lagging factor and not a leading factor when the earth get warmer. When the oceans get warmer they released carbon dioxide.

When the oceans get colder they absorb carbon dioxide. Think of a soda can when it gets hot. It sprays out the carbon dioxide form the can.

Carbon dioxide is a good thing. It helps plants to grow better.

The earth's temperature depends mainly on solar radiation.

According to the sunspot cycle, it should be getting cooler in the next few.
years.

With less sunspots means less solar radiation. Which means it gets cooler.

Professor Grey of the National Hurricane Center in Colorado recently made the statement......."Man is too insignificant to have any impact on the earth's climate"......

This may, or may not be true, I can't help to think that what we do, must have some level of impact, but to what level that is, is anybody's guess. The Greenies have made a business out of this hysteria and a special interest agenda to promote said hysteria. The junk science they promote concerning global warming is often insulting to one's intelligence, and the very people that promote it are nothing but hypocrites.

I work with a guy that's a card carrying member of Green Peace, and a handful of other such organizations. He walks around our work place turning down the thermostst, turning off lights, and whining about our "carbon footprints".

This same individual owns and regularly drives a fullsize, Ford 3/4 ton, 4 X 4 custom van with a V-10 engine. On cold mornings he'll go out and start this vehicle a half hour before he's ready to leave to defrost the windshield because he doesn't want to risk scratching the windshield with an ice scraper. When any of us accuse him of being an enviromental hypocrite, he comes up with a dozen weak arguments to justify his actions.

How many times have any of you pulled up behind a large gas guzzling SUV that had "Save the Planet", "Save the Whales", "Save Mother Earth" sticker on the back window, and they're usually next to other stickers promoting PETA, WWF, Obama '08, Surfrider Foundation, Green Peace....etc....etc....

it's the out right hypocrisy that makes the whole "Global Warming" thing hard to swallow......

You are full of contradictions here. First, according to the solar cycle we should be seeing MORE sunspots soon yet you state that "
With less sunspots means less solar radiation. Which means it gets cooler." so therefore one could say that with MORE sunspots it means more solar radiation which means it gets WARMER. You are contradicting yourself.

Second, sunspots are in fact cooler spots on the sun yet they radiate much more intense radiation which in turn heats the outter layers of our atmosphere and causes higher levels of radiation that penetrate those layers and in turn heat the earth more.

There will be no end to this arguement until we all either freeze to death or the oceans boil away. Either way I won't live to see it nor will my children's children.

I do have one question however,if man is so insignificant so as to have no effect, then why is it always hotter in the cities than in the suburbs?

Man's presence on this planet has/does make a difference. Just how significant a difference is debatable. Some, sure. There are things that the 'greenies' have come out with that are just ridiculous though. Other than the smell, do you really think a cow farting is going to really change much? Keeping things in perspective is sort of a nice idea. Some thought before doing something is also a nice idea, if you mix it with that perspective thingy. If humanity's life style is changed to 'make things better', it would sure have a beneficial impact on the planet. But would that also be a benefit to humanity? Beats me, and a change that 'big' is almost an impossibility when dealing with people. If your life style really turns your home into a pig's sty, you have two options. Clean it up, or move, both involve a change in life style. Just depending on presenting facts, without understanding those facts, and the reason for them, almost never works. 'Radio' stuff is a pretty good example of that...
