I happened upon an old Philmore FSM55 meter from the 80's?? Have the unit and box but no manual. Searched online but cannot locate a PDF or anything referring to the manual. Wondering if anyone on here knows about it or location of the documents I'm looking for. The power meter reads exactly correct as does the modulation. I can't figure out how to calibrate and use the SWR function however. Box says 1.5-150 MHZ. I be stumped.:confused1:

It is a basic little CB meter , there are a couple of different labels, Philmore and Midland that I know of.
Attach the transmitter and antenna to the proper connectors on the back.
Turn the right hand knob (calibrate) all the way down ( counterclockwise )
Set the left hand selector to SWR
Press the switch up to the FWD position
Key the transmitter and rotate the right hand knob (calibrate) until the needle on the meter is lined up with the 10/cal line on the watt scale.
Unkey the transmitter
Flip the switch back down to the REF position, key the transmitter again and read the SWR on the bottom side of the top scale.

Same basic procedure for Modulation.
