Outside N. America finally.

Besides just the local skip from N. America, I was able to finally catch a guy from Spain and Brazil today.

Raul - 30AT210...just a 2 min contact then gone.
Junior - 3ET055 from San Palo.

It's been long dry spell here for the long distance DX, but a CME should be arriving tonight some time.........

Hey Larry ...we talked about a week ago. Doesn't S. America count? Or...is a week a "long dry spell ?"

Say JJ I have a question for you; is there any one on the 11 meter band in the country of Guyana up on the North Coast? I need that one to complete S. America.

BTW, I have a ??? for you. I know this is off-topic, but how well does your I-10k do for DX ? Use the 10k much or usually the 5-element ?

J.J. - I don't use the I-10K very much for DXing, unless some one calls me from the back side, then I will use it instead of turning the beam.

I hear lots more stations with the beam than with the 10K!

Thanks Larry. I haven't had a vertical antenna up for about 3 years. I was thinking about repairing my old A99 and putting it back up but was wondering if it was really worth the time. Looking forward to hearing you out there again. 73s
