Here is a pair of rare and versatile FRS/GMRS handhelds with 2 very desirable features in particular. A long while back a VERY FEW of these type radios slipped past the FCC and came with REMOVABLE antennas so you could add a higher-gain portable ant., or use with coax to create a mobile or even base station setup. These unit's antennas are on the popular screw-on SMA type.
Only a 15 channel model. Ch's 1~7 are FRS 1~7 and Ch's 8~15 and the first 7 GMRS channels. ALL channels on board are on 462mhz so it will be an easy matter to obtain or make a mobile or base antenna tuned for 462mhz only and not having to worry about covering the 467mhz portion.
2nd great feature is for battery operation they use 6 x AA batts. Most of these handhelds use 3-4 AAA's so this 6 x AA scheme will provide much longer talk time. ~ Also has DC power port for using a wall wart, power supply or a lead to a larger external battery.

Turner +3's Head must be completely tight on the neck with NO movement and the round TURNER label must still be on the back of the head. Be prepared to send multiple pics of your mic.
