Anyone used or know of these units ? It uses a remote head so is ideal for mounting after the amp in the boot so you dont have coax everywere. I am interested in one, accuracy doesnt have to be as good a Bird but its a good indication of whats going on when mobile.

The Palstar WM150 was reviewed in QST magazine. QST found that the Palstar WM150 is the only watt meter with active peak capablilites.



Precision Engineering for Accurate Readings!

The WM150M is a compact, portable HF/VHF RF power wattmeter that measures and displays forward power, reflected power, and SWR simultaneously on it's dual movement meter system in the frequency range.



Accuracy of the readings is assured because the WM150M features a true shielded directional coupler. The backlit meter can display either peak or average power readings, and has 300 and 3000 watt range settings. The WM150M features dual cross-needles with a yellow background dial to read forward power and SWR Push button selection for ACTIVE peak and average reading and meter lamp on/off.

- Bandwidth/Frequency range = 1.8 to 60 MHz.

- Remote directional coupler with 14' cable to Meter head.

- 4.5"W x 3.25"D x 3.25"H Meter head

I use the Base model here at home, works great.Nice quality build, and the active peak function is fast on ssb, it does require 12 volt for the meter to function properly.

These are best on the market in their price range. And one other thing they are manufactured here in the USA.

I have to say I love mine also!!!!!!Got the mobile version,,,seems to be a consistant meter,,,for the price range I can't say I would consider any other model. Made in Piqua Ohio,,,,The Buckeye State!!
