This radio has the very early D858 <ACRONYM title="amplitude modulation">AM</ACRONYM>/<ACRONYM title=sideband>SSB</ACRONYM> chassis, which is a little bit different than the versions used in the President radios, such as the Washington, Grant, Madison, etc. Asking $175.00 shipped for this, since that is what I paid for it when I purchased it.

Has the dual final heatsink in the back. That being the case, I'd give it about a 6. I had to replace the front faceplate/bezel on it, since it was so nasty when I got the radio. All I had was a very well worn and used Cobra 148GTL faceplate and bezel, so that's what I put on there! Functionally, I'd give it about an 8.
