Man i just wanted to pass this along,,i went to the local hamfest we have every year and picked up a 13 tube phantom,,4x8 6lq6 tubes,,check this out 60.00 buck!!
It is near mint,,not even any dust inside very few scratches,,anyway the guys said it needed 2 tubes ,,so i took it home it had 2 flat tubes and a couple other weak ones ,,anyway i said hell with it i plugged it in and let it warm up for a while and keyed it up.bing bang boom..150 swingins 700 watts with 2 dead tubes,,then one of the bad tubes blew scared the hell out of me,,anyway i put 4 new tubes in it all over 110% well it's screaming 250-800 watts out..man what i deal,,,Basicly what i am getting at is make sure you hit the local festivals and radio swap meets ,,you might find a diamond for 60.00 bucks...Sweet amp really like it..Dan
