Picking up a D&A Phantom 10 tube amp. Can it do 160 or 80 meter? I know it does 40, 20, 15, 10. But I would like to know what it would take to modify the amp to include 160, 80 and 75 meters?

Nope not serious at all... just wanted to hear you ask that question. But yes I was considering it. However I see it might not be the way to go. But honestly there was not a lot of talk about it. So I figured I could ask, then I would know. That's what forums are for after all.
Was the B.C. Rich Warlock a regular electric guitar or a bass? I play both! The Warlock series is sweet looking!
~Cheers~
If the tubes are good in that old D&A they are almost worth their weight in precious metals.
Sell the tubes and you will have the $$$ for an SB-200 10-80 HF amplifier.
those old amps are work horses and many still on the air today.
The amp is fully functional and the tubes tested at 90% or better
You did not mention if it was a 10 tube or 12 tube, either way at around $35 to $50 each you have plenty of $$ to invest in a real amplifier.
The tubes are worth more than the amplifier is in working condition.

Give you an idea of what those old sweep tubes are worth.

Pass up on that and look at an SB-200 or something along that line of amplifiers.
Good amp and good suggestion!!!! Or spend a few bucks more and look for a 220. Now THATS an AMP!!!!
