This could get interesting, can anyone define tech as it applies to the field? I mean, is there some industry standard or something that hands you a piece of paper stating you are a tech? I'm a hobbyist, but isn't that the makings of a tech, should someone devote effort in that direction? Who is a tech? How many years of effort are required?
