Crusher, are you a member of the Yahoo Group, "Ham Amplifiers" or, the Amps Reflector, you can pickup some info there.

Xc for .01Uf @ 27 Mhz is is like 1 ohm, IMO for single band operation the inductance value of of the plate choke is in critical, just make sure to pile enough turns on there.

Yes, you can get the computer modeling programs that analyze your circuit and reports the critical values down to 3 decimal points but *I* don't think whatever small percentage of effiecency gained or lose will be noticed 1000 miles away on the other end.
