I have fell out of the Amateur radio passion for quite some time, I used to have a 148GTL fully modified and a President HR-2510 with a Wilson 5000 and a 1000 watt linear...

Now its been many years and I am dying to get back into it. I am the type of person who loves to have the best and go all out a no cost.

I love the 2510 due to it being digital

My question is I know its hard to come by but is the 2510 and or 2600 still top of the league and the way to go or is there other radios that could be modified that will blow these out the water

I don't know we're to go to get a modified radio so any and all help would be great
