let's just say I have a 10 meter radio that was modded for 11 meters. and let's say I wanted to do a full alignment just to be sure everything is as good as it can be.

when the book says to set radio to a specific 10 meter frequency, do you set to that frequency or do you go with the 11
meter frequency that is now in its place?

or how do you do it properly?

You would tune to the 11m frequency ie. if the manual said to tune to a 10m freq. low in the band then tune to an 11m freq. near the low end of where you want to operate. If it says to tune to a freq. in the middle of the 10m band, then tune to an 11m freq. in the middle of where you want to operate.

Coax question. I just put up a new Sirio monsoon base antenna with 100’ of rg8u coax testing with myMFJ antenna analyzer shows 1.4 swr at 26.965mhz and a 1.1 at 27.405 mhz . When I checked the ohms it’s steady a 30 ohms across the entire bandwidth.

Is 30 ohms worth worrying about in a 100’ run of rg8u ?
