Left to right:
  • A portion of my End Fed Half Wave wire for 40m/20m sloping up to 25 feet.
  • MFJ-1890 Moxon, feed point @ 24 feet, for 10/11m.
  • Sirio Gain-master, feed point @ 30 feet, for 10/11/12m
  • Diamond X50, feed point @ 24 feet, for 2m/70cm
  • Homebrew dipole, feed point @ 18 feet, for. 6m

The angle of the picture skews the positioning, but there is minimum of 18+ feet of separation between each/all of them except the wire.

Wow thats cool stuff. My wife wouldn't allow me to have all that lol. She hates my 1 antenna.

A-99 just over 11ft. So far I am really happy with it but I want to secure the top of the mast to the eave of the house. Hasn't moved yet and seems sturdy enough for the height.

My wife is very understanding and probably the greatest asset with regard to me making contacts on the radio. My usable urban space is 75x35 and the longest run is E/W, not best for a wire at my location.

Here's a birds eye view with only the 40/20 (blue) in place. The plan is to get the 80/40/20 up at some point.

Post your antenna installs. I would like to see them no matter what brand. My Sirio Tornado 27. 26'8" in the air.View attachment 17397
Nice pic.

I"m surprised you can have the antenna up that high without guy wires if you are implying it is 26.8 ft to the antenna feed-point. Overall height to the top of the antenna doesn't count. If it is indeed 26.8 ft. to the base of the antenna where the coax feed-point is, It appears to be stable in the pic.

Assuming it is 26.8 ft to the feed-point, Have you tried to raise it up to 36 ft. so it will be 1 wavelength for 11 meters?

If you can, it would be the ideal height above ground for that band and you will have an ideal vertical antenna system.

The tornado is a light antenna fourstringburn, but at the height and materials being used I suspect going any higher he would need to add some guyed wires. Or at least some some support. I could be wrong but this is just what I beleive.

When I say materials being used I mean the mast pipe and such. Sorry didn't specify that more!!

Also it may not show the actual bracing to the house in the photos Galaxy 959 which I believe it is braced to anyways.
