Where would be a good radio store to buy a predator 10
K , the Antenna will be installed on a big rig 'primarily on a bird perch which screws into the drivers mirror mounting bracket . So what I'm looking for is a ball park figure the bird perch a good quality mirror mount and the predator 10 k, us some good quality cable with plugs thanks ...

Jjd can you tell me length starting point to tune a 17in single coil. Use mainly on 10 m

You may have to cut your whip for proper 10 meter use. May want to order a couple of whips and mark them. One for strictly 10 meters and one for 11 meters. The antenna may be broad banded enough to keep the swr down at the edge of the bands, but some trimming may be required.
