Evening folks. Has been a while since I was on but I have question.... does my memory serve right that I read there is a member on here that sells a quality electro cap kit for the HR series radios? I have a HR2600 that is getting a spanking new Chipswitch and socket and thought would be best for fresh caps also while it's apart. Am I correct that the member is roggerbird or someone similar? Thank you very much.

Yes I do. You can purchase from my eBay listing below or if you send me a PM with your PayPal registered email address, I can give you a $1 discount.

I am gonna do it all my self. Whittle it down a few hrs every night after work. And yes, then send it out for align. I'm just a hobbyist without the needed equipment and time for such. Funny thing is... my original 2510 from back in the early 90's is trucking along great. That was my first Chipswitch install and no problems. Think I was 15 or 16.... I de-box the radio every 2 months to give it a workout and let her breath. Same with my 1st gen 2950. My god... now that I think about it, I have way too many radios! Or is that such a thing? LOL
