I finally got the software to work. What a big pain in the backside!!!

Now I went and programmed the custom Roger Beeps And changed the display to show my callsign instead of the radio name. Got that all going and happy. Now I unplugged the programming cable and gave it a test. RB works and callsign is displayed the problem is now its showing 10meters on all the band sellections (1-9).

Anyone know how to get it back onto 11 meters? I tried to type in the 11 meter freqs on the software program but it keeps telling me out of range.

So Any Ideas On How To Get It Back?

Thanks for that bit of info that isn't what I was going for.

I did figure it out.

So for anyone who finally get the software running...

You can set up the radio with all the freqs on the different bands only when you have the 10 meter tab on top of the other tab. You must enter them all by hand.

Also get the software completely setup as you want it and then send the info to the radio. If you do just a part of it then close the program and come back to it, everything is lost. All the setting you just went thru. It don't keep them in memory for some reason. So go thru the program completely. Set up what you want including all the freqs on the diff bands you want, then connect the radio and send the info to radio. Turn off radio, unplug cable, turn on radio and check to see if all is what you wanted on the radio. Then if all is good, turn of the program. When you turn the program back on later all your settings on will go back to the first settings not as you left it.

I didn't check this out but I seen that you can send info to the radio and from the radio so I'm hoping that the next time I want to mess with the settings I can send info from radio to program and the program will have everything as I set it up the first time.

I hope this isn't too confusing as I cant spell or explain myself very well. I guess that's why I'm a truck driver. ;)

I'll go to the other thread and try to explain how I got this software to work.
