Question about same state shipping?

I ordered a new radio Saturday it was shipped Today. from my home to the store it is 58.3 mi. i payed UPS 3 day select (it cost more than ground). if it got here tomorrow would UPS hold it until the third day? ... i hope not:headbang

you haven't dealt with ups much have you>>? they may keep it another day and consider you lucky that they let you have it then.

Your tracking will say out for delivery.

I placed an order with Radio World in Toronto Ontario on Friday afternoon March 2 for a Diawa CN-801HP RF power meter. It was shipped Canada Post Expedited service and it was in the mailbox at 10:00am today. Not bad at all considering the distance and the postal system. I would think a 58 mile trip would be delivered the next day at the latest.

I have been in your situation more than once. The day before scheduled delivery my tracking would show it is at my local hub. Instead of delivery that day, they sit on it.

There is a definite madness in the way they do things.

I remember buying a new ICOM IC-707 from HRO, when it was half way here, UPS went on strike. I think it was over a week longer before it was delivered by a manager.

I admit, I still get excited waiting for goodies to arrive.

Dude.....UPS Ground in most states - intrastate will be next day. You spent extra $$ fer nuttin' mercy. Key and learn

checked tracking info @ mid night and its being delivered today. i checked again this morning yup. sweet! believe it or not had the tax not been $49.00 i was going to spend the $50 for overnight shipping its not a bid deal 14.00 is 14.00 that is what i payed for 3 day so.
