Why this antenna is deaf outside the CB band in comparison with other cb antennas ? For example, I live in the countryside, between mountains. I like to listen to hams and broadcast stations. I had no problems with I-Max, Penetrator or Sirio 827 antennas. Signals were good with those antennas.

For example, AM broadcast stations heard with an S of around 4-5 , with the Vector only a whisper could barely be heard , no S units at all.

The same on ham frequencies.

How such a big antenna can perform like that ? Even the I-Max with no ground plane is no so deaf.

My only response to this is that the Vector is so efficient very selective on CB bands.
