radio wave blocking paint???

Just what every paranoiac needs. I checked the rest of their products but see they do not offer the Aluminum foil beenie.

Actually you know, that stuff may just work. There is a paint available that will provide a level of shielding .How much is anyones guess. They even make a paint loaded with powdered iron to make a painted on activity wall that magnets will stick too. Magnetic paint

That looks like the stuff I meant Bob.It is like a micro thin layer of metal when it dries. Is it really bright and shiny when it dries? It is great for painting the inside of plastic project cases for RF projects.

qrn the stuff i use is dull grey and rough textured when it dries similar to whats in a d104m6 but i have seen smoother coatings that do the same thing

I figured you could use any old paint from China, especially the stuff their using on children's toys...

Metalized paint can/will shield from RF. How much and what frequencies is a guess more than an all encompassing thingy. '3M' used to make a spray 'stuff' for shielding radio/VCR/etc cabinets which did work. Nasty looking stuff, not exactly 'cosmetic', but on the inside of cabinets who cares, sort of. Any place not covered leaves an RF 'hole', and the frequency of what gets through just depends on the size of the 'hole'. It was certainly not fool-proof, but then, nothing is except distance and a solid metal enclosure, sort of.
As for aluminum foil beanies, that's really old fashioned! Considering current hair styles, just spray your head with silver primer paint, then color to your own taste. A good automotive clear coat for a finish, naturally... 'Candy Apple' puce... works great, especially for carbon fiber underwear.

Actually, my company uses a high copper content paint on the inside of our instruments...the ones that use plastic shells anyway...and its RoHS compliant :)
