My wife would like to thank Booty Monster for planting the seed in my head that I need a new radio!:laugh: Anyway I have been reading a few sites in regards to RCI 2950dx and keep finding comments about a E-chip and to find a shop that does the conversion or sends the E-chip or I am stuck with a non convertible radio (no 11 meter). Where can I buy a 2950 untouched with whatever I need to be able to take to my local tech and have it converted and peaked? Copper offers to convert for $30 but I don't want them to convert it I want my tech to do it. Looking at H&Y but $ seems high compared to copper is there a reason for this? By the way Booty I owe you one!
