On the RCI 2980 WX
What is the power output of the radio on am and ssb??
Does it have a built in power supply?
Does it have a variable power control??

10 Watts RMS: CW / AM / FM:
25 Watts: SSB (PEP)

25 or so am after peaking, 30-35 ssb.

they have there own power supply built in. they just plug into the wall.

yes they have variable power built into the front pannel.

They are not single banned.

They are advertized that way but they go from 24 something Mhz up to 29 Mhz. In 12 (I think it is) frequency pools. It appears they advertize them as only one band because they would be illegal if they were not. But you will not find them limited to just 10 meters.

I have never heard someone call them scatter boxes. In fact I hear recellent reports on them. I suppose you can cause them to be one if you want.
