Please advise as to the best person I should send it to for a proper alignment. Bought it used a while back, seems to work well but, I do know it's slightly off frequency.

Radio Shop Supply worked on 3 Rangers for me. I was very pleased with their work. The guy in charge was Dynascans tech back in the day. Very knowledgeable gentleman with a nice attitude.

8541 Electronics (sharpshooters) makes his bread and butter from the public service business but did, and may still, work on the 2950 radios. He is one of the very best techs on those radios and did all the tech work waaaay back when Panther Electronics was in business. Panther was in New Hampshire but shipped all the Ranger radios to 8541 Electronics for service and mods. If he still works on them I highly recommend him.

He's only 50 miles or less from me. I can drive that far. I'm waiting for him to return my email. Before I found out about him I asked some truckers if they knew a cb tune shop near Charlotte,N.C. They mentioned one north of Charlotte but didn't recommend that one. Laurinburg,N.C. Is east of me.
