Maybe you guys who have been around longer than I have can give me a better insight. I've been around long enough and have owned enough of the rk56 and can tell a real telex from the newer versions or new chinese versions. On the older let's just say real turner/telex there is are stamped numbers on the pcb underneath the ptt switch. Example 06 126 1 is on the inside of one of that I have. Can anyone here tell me how to identify the year made by looking at those stamped numbers. Just from my own assumptions, I'd say the example I put would mean 2006 but I'm only guessing.... the reason I'm asking here.

Coax question. I just put up a new Sirio monsoon base antenna with 100’ of rg8u coax testing with myMFJ antenna analyzer shows 1.4 swr at 26.965mhz and a 1.1 at 27.405 mhz . When I checked the ohms it’s steady a 30 ohms across the entire bandwidth.

Is 30 ohms worth worrying about in a 100’ run of rg8u ?
