I guess if there is a will there is a way. In a few weeks we are vacationing and I wanted to put the CB in the car for the trip. The car is a new Dodge Charger. After the first time I sit in the car and pondered where to put the radio I about gave the Idea up. Especially with the large chassis Realistic TRC-449. I noticed that the sun visor was mounted very sturdy from both ends. I got to wondering if I broke a piece of aluminum the width of the mounting bracket in a u shape to slip over the visor from the back side if that would work. Kind of picture in your mind a device shaped like an extra-large money clip with the CB bracket fastened to it then slid over the sun visor from the back side. It all worked out well so I ordered a new Magnetic Mount Wilson 1000. I got it all installed and am very pleased with how it all turned out. I called my nephew who lives 12 miles out on the farm and ask him to get in his pickup and see if we could make the trip on the CB. We were able to talk to each other pretty well. Neither of us are running any power. Here is a picture of the temporary install in the Charger. Kirk
