I just got a Realistic TRC-454 but it is missing the 12 volt DC cable. The socket on the back of the radio has three holes for pins, one hole is on the left side of the socket, and the other two holes (one over the other) are on the right side. I have two questions. Is there a generic plug I can get? And how do I know which pin is positive, negative, ground? Thanks very much.

That is a common 12 volt CB plug used on a great many radios of 80's and 90's vintage. It is commonly available, even Amazon should have it.
The side with one hole is positive and the negative uses one (or both) of the other two.

Do a web search on "CB power cable" and look for two wire three pin cables. Will run anywhere from 9 to 20 bucks. Anything beyond that is designed for higher amperage than that radio will ever pull unless it has a dead short in it somewhere. You can get them on eBay, Amazon, and pretty much any CB seller's web site.

Just be sure to look at the pics of the item before clicking the buy button to be sure the pin pattern matches. Odds are it will, but it never hurts to check.
