That's a very good point regarding the sampling rate!

The logic analyzer and pattern generator seem related to pulse width modulation maybe this could be useful for frequency hacking the new radios that use an m.c.u. other than that use somebody else want to chime in because I can't see too many other places where those features would be useful in CB! BusPirate and FTDI uart programmer can be used to do the same thing with the Bearcat 980, I know because I saw it on YouTube LOL.
