I might be wrong but If I'm correct the sonar fs 2340 doesn't have a nut that fastens the relay.

If so I'll find out when i remove the bottom cover.

I'm hoping it does.

It would make replacing the relay as easy as I thought it should've been to start with.

I will clean the contracts first and if the problem continues I'll replace it with a working one.

Ps This is a picture sent to me by Mike and according to him there is no fastener of any type on this radio's relay but I'm not the first owner of this rig and someone may have fastened it from the bottom for whatever reason. Thank you. TAKING A CLOSER LOOK AT THE PICTURE I JUST ADDED I CAN SEE THE SINGLE STUD ON THIS RELAY IS THREADED. I MAY HAVE MISUNDERSTOOD MIKE BECAUSE IT APPEARS IT DOES INDEED HAVE A NUT THAT THREADS FROM THE UNDERSIDE.
