remote is ft1200dx , hrd 6.3.0 and interface scu-17 for psk
using the home pc i have no USB Audio codec ( sofware/scu-17 create enhanced/ basic virt.com ports)
as scu-17 is connected to the remote
do i need a second scu-17 to connect to the home pc to have the usb audio codec or is there another way
thank you for attention and reply

Not quite sure what you are asking and I haven't tried any of the PSK modes.

I run remote to my home PC with my TS590 from my laptop. I occasionally mess around with JT-65a which is another digital mode.

My TS590 is configured to my home PC with USB for CAT control for full radio control, and I use a separate audio cables patched into the radio's ACC jack for audio in and out only. This decreases the audio delay some which is inherent using remote radios sharing both audio and rig control on the USB cable alone. This requires a remote audio software set up in a server/client configuration which Kenwood offers for free with their radios. This lets me use both the Kenwood radio control software and I can also use HRD via remote too with VOIP for all audio functions.

Since the JT65a software has no remote capabilities, I use the free Teamviewer 11 software which let's you setup your audio soundcard to be heard remotely with other computers using Teamviewer. This let's me play JT65a on my laptop remotely looking directly at my home PC and hear the audio too. Teamviewer is great to have anyway for remote stations in case you need to restart any of your server/host software or make any changes remotely.

In your case, HRD has no remote audio capabilities so you need to setup a server/client audio program. Here is a free one that HRD recommends,

Download to both computers but use the remote server for your main PC and use the remote client for your remote PC. The configurations to your sound card should be self explanatory.

I hope that's what you were looking for.

How are you routing the audio from the scu-17 to the remote PC?
