I have several cb projects that need the cabinets/housings refinished. I stripped them to bare metal, and primed them. I want to replicate the OEM "textured" look that they had from the factory. The only textured spray paint I'm aware of is the stuff made by Rustoleum. But it's a little too textured, and looks so-so.

Anybody know of any other product that will give me the "new in the box" finish I'm looking for ?? Thanks in advance.

Many powder coating business perform a wide variety of texture types, but they’re expensive. I had an old short wave radio made in the 50’s that was powder coated in a very mild smooth type hammertone finish. I paid around $60 ten years ago, but the metal had to be totally bare, plus I had to wait for my item to be placed among a large run with other customers wanting the same color and texture. I now understand some folks are powder coating on their own. I never tried that yet mainly because the better half would have a conniption fit if her stove was used for such a purpose.

The variety of powder coating texture types and colors now has become a task within itself with so many to choose from.
