A couple weeks ago I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab-S 10.5 inch tablet. BTW the display on it is SUPERB! Never saw a screen with such detail and colour. Anyway the problem i have,l as well as many others, is that I cannot view Flash videos. The Play Store has deleted the Adobe Flash Player from it's apps and apparently Adobe has stopped supporting it for the Android platform or something like that. I have heard that some folks have been able to view Flash videos on them but so far no luck for me. It is model SM-T800 and runs Android 4.4.2 Kit-Kat. It would really be nice to be able to watch embedded videos on Facebook as well as other places. Every time I click on such video it says I need to upgrade to the latest version. I have done this from the Adobe archives site and even when it it installed I get the same upgrade message. It is maddening as it runs great on my Motorola Android smart phone however that is three years old now. Anybody been successful in installing/running Flash Player on such a device?

Been there and done that on both counts but still not working and yes I have the security settings set to allow installations from unknown sources. Older versions of the Galaxy tablet work fine. My wife has a Galaxy Tab-2 and it works fine however the issue seems to be just with the newer models. It figures, I get what is supposed to be the latest and greatest model and it won't do something an older model will. It's a PITA switching over too the laptop just to watch Flash videos.

Probably just incompatible with later Android versions. It does work on my Razr Maxx and Galaxy S4.

That's exactly the reason. Galaxy-4 and earlier work fine and have archived .apk files for them. Galaxy-S and Tab-PRO have the issue. There was talk on one site about needing to load Dolphin browser and use the Flash add-on but it seems there are conflicting reports about it's success. Other's swear by the archived files including the .apk file you posted above. Not sure however if they were confused about the proper model of tablet.
