In all my years working as a FF/Paramedic, I've encountered many different responses to death. This worthless hag takes top honors.
If I was on scene and heard her remarks, I'd probably get suspended (again). Whenever we encountered a deceased person, we had to remain on scene until relieved by the coroner or a law enforcement officer.
Sometimes, we would have to remain on scene for up to an hour. While waiting, various family members would usually flock to the scene. Rarely, would people act civilized as they rooted around looking for shit to take. I've seen 'em squabbling over food stamps, drugs, money, the list goes on... All while the body was still warm.
People are just so uncivilized anymore...
