I know these are considered "throwaway radios", but I just can't leave anything alone!
I feel like I've searched everywhere that I could and can't find any information on this thing.
A schematic would be great.
(I'll add the board number tonight, when I get home from work, It might "jive" with something else).

Most likely its a Cybernet board and has a ton of cross references to other radios. Look up the Lafayette CB radios that look like they have the same features and chassis layout. The schematic may be easier to find. Best of luck.

This is from CB Tricks for the Lafayette HB 640. I used to have one. I donated it to a local police department for their mobile scales van.

The original L1 had an "accident" with D7 (who doesnt look happy either), while I was doing some measurments. .......Whoops! .......(still stinks inside)
One thing I plan on using a schematic for, is to see if I can widen up the audio band a little by swapping some caps. I was abe to "reverse-a-ma-fy" some of the radio, but the audio chip and limiter ins and outs are tricky for me. I'd rather have something to reference.

Everyone goes through adjusting tune. Play with the settings on the meter. Then set the radio to 3-4 watts dead key to whatever it will swing. The Cybernet boards will sound nice and clear, but are not a powerhouse. I have an old Pearce Simpson Pussycat 23 base. The old box will sound nice and clear, and receives OK. Just set to 4 watts dead key. I wish I can have the money back I had getting my Uniden 66 retuned. Limiter in, limiter out. Sounded best at 5 watts swing to around 24, with a copy Road King mic from Sparky’s CB Shack.

These power mics are not expensive and sound really well.

Not an older Cybernet o2a board. Wrong pll and not enough crystals.

Hi, you might check out Lou Franklin's web site and look for his PLL book, check out which radios used the same PLL (TC9106p) and see if you can find one that has more information. https://www.cbcintl.com/pllbook.htm

Here is another thing to do.
The slug is out of L10 tuning for driver transistor. I assume it is out because you found that was max power out. If so, unsolder the coil and take one turn off of it, put it back into the board along with the slug. You should find you can tune with the slug for max power out...

That one is on the driver and was empty, one of the 1st things I did when the covers were popped off was to drop a slug in and got another 4w PEP before the swing mod was added, but made no difference after. I think L10 is just there to keep RF out of the audio/power (simular to L11). It'll all get retested before it's done.
The -1 coil mod is golden, mosfet swaps and older AM radios respond really well to it.
