I just got done watching the new Rolling Stones movie, directed by Martin Scorsese, "Shine a Light."
Wow, what a great film and show! Mick Jagger is amazing, moving like he's still 20-something. The band is fantastic, the playlist is great, the sound is phenomenal, and it is shot brilliantly. Keith looks like an animated corpse, but plays and sings beautifully. Ronnie and Charlie are also in top form, but Mick really steals the show with his incredible energy, great singing, and guitar and harmonica playing.
Great guest appearances from Buddy Guy, Christine Aguilerra, and Jack White III.
Wonderful to watch these guys, who have been through eveything, really having a good time and putting on a great performance, and the crowd is clearly loving it!
4 Stars, highly recommended.
